Patient Survey Autumn
2008
During the Autumn of 2008 we asked patients visiting the
surgery to complete a survey to give us the opportunity to hear your
views and improve the service offered where necessary and possible.
We used the same survey in 2007 and have now reviewed the comments
and scores and are delighted to report that we have seen positive
improvements in:
1. Appointment satisfaction
2. See practitioner within 48hrs
3. See practitioner of choice
4. Speak to practitioner on phone
5. Waiting time
6. Warmth of greeting
7. Reassurance
8. Respect shown
9. Time for visit
10. Reception staff
11. Respect shown
12. Complaint/compliments
13. Second opinion/comp medicine
In the patient surveys carried out in 2007 a total of 13 patients
expressed wishes for the surgery to be open later some nights during
the week and also open on Saturday mornings. We have listened to
your suggestions and are now open on both.
We have also updated our telephone system and increased the number
of consultations offered each week.
